We are a quiet inn, even when we are full, and the house has a very relaxing ambiance, as many of our guests have commented. Our mattresses
are made to order by Gardner Mattress to hotel standard. We also manage to be 'Kid - friendly'.

All our rooms tend to be spacious, the Victorians tended to build very functional homes, and ours is in the Italianate tradition, gracious and functional at the same time.
We can accommodate most types of accommodation need, including families.
Many of our guests comment that they feel at home here, an inn where you can enjoy your privacy and still experience a genuine welcome. Tobey is an excellent host and a great source of local information. She has built up a particular expertise in accommodating small groups and retreats, especially where they involve scrapbooking. Groups often take the whole inn and we can offer you a really special experience.

The Carriage house cottages are small apartments with plenty of room and amenities, ideal for longer stays and or family groups. There are new decks off the back and at the front of the Carriage house that guests can enjoy. We do family rates for these cottages and we can add a cot for an extra child or teen. You can park right outside the carriage house and can also enjoy all the amenities of the main house. They have small kitchenettes, cable and AC.
The Rose Green is a two bedroom family unit that sleeps five and is ideal for families or larger travelling groups; it seems popular for girls' weekends too. Tobey is an excellent host for any type of group event. It's the top of a little house that was previously a separate building, but has since been joined to the Main House. It is very private, with its own entrance, and below it is just our linen storage and laundry. It has two bedrooms, its own bathroom ( with shower ). It has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and hotpot. It also has AC and Cable TV.
