RETREATS AT THE LINDEN TREE INN

THINKING OF A RETREAT, FAMILY GET TOGETHER, GIRLS’ WEEKEND, SCRAPBOOKING/CRAFT WEEKEND?

We can offer a really special experience, and all-inclusive package to suit your needs. Why not book the whole inn for your group? We do special rates for groups outside the busy season.

The Linden Tree Inn is the perfect place to hold your retreat or family gathering in the quiet time of the year. Typically we host retreats from November through April, but occasionally we will consider a group in late October or early May, depending on when Halloween and Mother’s Day fall. We can comfortably accommodate from 10 to 16 people for our retreats.

Types of retreats we have hosted in the past include family groups, women’s groups from churches for spiritual retreat or a girls getaway weekend, scrapbooking groups, knitting groups, small board meetings, small regional business meetings, Alpha Retreats, music group rehearsals and couples retreats.

We have 16 rooms, all with private baths. We can accommodate more participants if guests do not mind sharing a room, such as couples or friends that do not mind sharing. We like to keep our retreats under 20 participants maximum so that we can accommodate everyone at one seating for meals, and for adequate room in the meeting spaces.

We have a comfortable living room and a bright sun room that are used for informal meetings. For more formal meetings where attendees need to be seated at tables, we are not able to accommodate as many guests. Please call and we can let you know if our inn is suitable for your needs.

We charge a per person rate for retreats and try to keep it affordable as we know the retreat planner also has other costs that need to be passed on to the attendees. When we plan for a retreat, we generally reserve the whole inn for the group. The rate we charge is dependent on which month you plan to come, how many nights you are here and how many meals and the menu you select. Each group is unique in which meals they like to be included for their retreat.

The final cost per person that is presented will include room, meals, and taxes. We ask that you have your group members provide their own gratuity for their chambermaid.

Once you select your dates and decide which meals you would like included we will work with you on selecting a menu. Included of course is the traditional Linden Tree breakfast with cold breakfast items served buffet style and then a served cooked breakfast with choice of eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon and potato tots and no breakfast is complete until you have (at least) one of Tobey’s legendary scones!

Call to schedule your next retreat at the Linden Tree Inn. Tobey will be your contact person throughout the whole process. We can be reached at 978-546-2494 or 800-865-2122 or you can drop us an email to get the inquiry started!

FEEL RIGHT AT HOME

As part of your retreat experience, we like our guests to feel at home. We will have you appoint one “point person” that we will work with to coordinate all the details that your particular group requires, giving help with room assignments, meal planning and set up needs for your meetings. In addition to meals, there are cookies, coffee, teas and water available for breaks or anytime. Tobey will make your group feel welcome and taken care of while you are here.

Some of the retreats we have hosted in the past are scrapbook retreats, knitting groups, small regional business meetings, women’s get aways, faith-based retreats, and family reunions.
